Kiwanis Dragon Boat Festival – Saturday July 15^th, 2006

The Marksmen once again braved Laurel Creek to take on 59 other teams to help raise money for the Grand River Hospital and the Elmira Recreation Center.  We did not win our division but had a great time anyway.

We will get em next year!!!!  Enjoy your summer gang because the rigorous diet and training program begins September...

The strongest companies in our industry come out to support our Annual John Todd Invitational Golf Tournament.  While others may talk of economic doom and gloom to no one’s benefit, the best and brightest showed up to network, create opportunities and donate to great causes.

Supercities Walk For MS

Once again, Marks Supply and its staff are out in full force...this time supporting the Supercities walk for Multiple Sclerosis.

Parkinson's Superwalk

On Saturday, September 25th, the Parkinsons Superwalk was held at Victoria Park in Kitchener. Several Marks staff participated and were sponsored by Marks Supply. The event raised $59,000 for Parkinson's research...a good time was had by all!!

HVAC and Hydronics Show

ON September 7th, 2005, Marks Supply In Kitchener had it's first HVAC and Hydronics trade show.  There were over 30 vendors on hand to greet the 250 customers in attendance.  Food and fun were on the menu and many of our customers enjoyed the great prizes and giveaways.  If you would like to see some pictures of this event, check out our

Charity Haircut

Thanks to Jamie Allin, Tom Leslie, and Dave Brenneman for cutting their hair for the Children's Health Foundation. Together we raised $2580...Thank you to all who donated.

Habitat For Humanity

Recently many of our Marks Supply team players pitched in for a Habitat For Humanity home build in the Niagara Falls area. This very rewarding weekend was enjoyed by all and produced an increadible house!

Each year Marks Supply Inc. receives hundreds of requests for donations to charities and sports teams from customers, suppliers, employees, and various organizations.  We recognize the value of all these efforts and have responded to most requests.

We all have particular causes we, as individuals feel are important.  So, in an effort to co-ordinate our giving, we created a corporate donation policy, which can be clearly understood and followed.  In order to support our employees and our customers in their desire to give to a particular group, each month Marks Supply sets aside $1,000 for giving.  We choose a cause submitted by an employee and a customer, and make a donation of $500 on their behalf.

Since its inception, Marks Supply has donated over $40,000 to various charitable organizations.
